Jofrog is Knitfrog!
August 13 2007
A few nights ago it was actually cool enough that I wanted a blanket to put over my legs while I was watching tv! It's August, it's been SO HOT, and I was looking for a blanket!
This is why I love the northeast. I understand that San Diego and Hawaii and Arizona are beautiful all of the time, but where's the excitement when things change?
I pulled out my "Divine Cardigan" and started in on the edging. You may remember that rather than knitting a strip and sewing it on, as the instructions tell you to, I cast on provisionally and left live stitches so that I could knit it on. On the edges I'm picking up a stitch and knitting it together with the border, as one would do with an applied I-cord.
This is a slow going project, but interesting enough to keep my attention for one lace repeat (28 rows). I started at the middle of the back of the neck and I'm almost down to the bottom of the left front now. Progress, certainly progress! September is coming, yeah fall!A Cool Snap and Renewed Interest

Boy, there are a lot of needles hung up in this project at the moment!
